INSTITUTION PADRE RUBINOS
The social charity institution Padre Rubinos was born in Corunna almost a century ago in order to give shelter to the needy. Later, expanding its services and started work as well as nursery schools and the elderly. Now, the Spanish architect Elsa Urquijo presented her project for the new headquarters of the institution - a unique architectural complex, reflected in a serene space that seeks peace and relaxation. Particular care was taken in the use of materials that meet the requirements for a building of these characteristics: high quality and strength materials, durability and ecological notions. Inside was also taken the same care, using warm woods and natural fabrics that provide serenity and comfort.
Elsa Urquijo Architects is an architectural and interior design office based in Corunna since 2000.
