More than 40 international galleries, an extensive program of exhibitions and discussion forums will transform Lisbon in the capital of contemporary art. After Madrid edition, in February, the prestigious International Contemporary art fair of Madrid happens beyond the borders for the first time. Lisbon was the destination chosen by IFEMA.
ARCOlisboa offers its visitors a journey starting in the XX century all the way to today through the works of Joaquin Torres García, Mario Merz, Dan Graham, Robert Barry, Lawrence Weiner, Julian Opie, Julião Sarmento, Joana Vasconcelos, Pedro Cabrita Reis, Juan Luis Moraza, Ignasi Aballí, Maria Loboda, Felipe Arturo, João Maria Gusmão + Pedro Paiva e Daniel Steegmann Mangrané.
From 26 to 29 of May, the ARCOlisboa takes place in the Fábrica Nacional da Cordoaria, located in Belém.
