The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences delivered on Sunday, September 18th, the main awards of the American television. The predictions were right and the highlight of this year was once again for Game of Thrones, which received the award for best drama series and became the most awarded series ever, with 38 Emmys.
The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story led the Limited Series category with the awards Best Limited Series; Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie, for Courtney B. Vance, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, for Sarah Paulson; Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie, for Sterling K. Brown. Veep is the Best Comedy Series and Julia Louis-Dreyfus received the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in Comedy Series for her interpretation in Veep. Rami Malek (Mr. Robot) took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) was considered the Outstanding Lead Actress in Drama Series. The 68th edition of the Emmy Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, USA, and had the presentation of Jimmy Kimmel.
