Hupomone Ranch

A SUSTAINABLE FARM

Hupomone Ranch is a 160-acre farm located in the Chileno Valley, just west of downtown Petaluma, California. The ranch had been fallow for over 30 years and the owners, a young family with three children, wanted to build a barn house that would reflect their commitment to sustainable agriculture. In addition, they also wanted to ensure the energy efficiency of the house, which has a LEED Platinum certified and features a number of energy saving features such as the use of solar and photovoltaic panels.
