ADAPTED TO THE WEATHER
Bricks and concrete. These are the materials that shape a house that inhales and exhales permanently. Designed by Tropical Space studio, the building has a area of 300m2and two floors (ground floor and first floor), with a modern architecture that, at the same time, embodies a Vietnamese traditional structure.
By dividing the roof in two, with a courtyard, and the big and porous walls, they maximized the ventilation, as well as natural lighting. Therefore, the team of architects, that is dedicated to an environment friendly practice and the use of sustainable materials, adapted the space to the region’s weather conditions. The clay bricks can also absorb rain, thus reducing the heat on the floor.
