When April arrives in Milan, life steps up a notch. The city is taken over entirely by an unstoppable aesthetic movement. The fashion capital transforms into the capital of furniture design and accessories. But before this, long before the grand moment of the official presentation of the main trends, the media machinery of the leading brands get in line for what is considered, by many, to be the most important event in the furniture sector. This is how it’s been at iSaloni since the very first edition, in 1961, the event that has become known around the world as Milan Design Week. Year after year, creativity has been the guiding light for the 2400 exhibitors choosing iSaloni to reveal their wares to the world, over an area of 207,000 sqm. The 55th edition was held between April 12 and 17 and once again affirmed the vitality of design. Visitor numbers exceeded those registered in 2014, reaching a total of 372,151.
