THE COUTURIER`S WORLD
For Yves Saint Laurent, Morocco, with its creativity, harmonies and audacious combinations, defined the style that characterized him so well, the boldness that described him. Not happy with absorbing the culture, Yves transformed and adapted it. He made it his own. At this time, Morocco welcomes the museum that honours the French fashion designer in all its magnificence.
It was the year of 1966 when Yves Saint Laurent first discovered Marrakech, one of the most emblematic cities in the country of North Africa. The museum, which was built on nothing less than Yves Saint Laurent Street, opened its doors recently and will preserve part of the collection belonging to the Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent.
