To celebrate the Air Max Day, on the 26th of march, Nike decided that the next Air model will be chosen by the consumers, through the Vote Forward campaign. The brand invited “some of the most audacious creatives from all over the world” to, together with Nike’s design team, work on Air Max’s future.
The creative team – the ‘Revolutionairs’ – consists of artists, designers and DJ’s, was invited to Nike’s headquarters, in Oregon, United States of America, to reinvent the Air model. The most voted by the public will become reality.
Alexandra Hackett (London), Artemy Lebedev (Moscow), Bunyamin Aydin (Istanbul), Clement Balavoine (Amsterdam), Fabikr (Seoul), Kyle Ng (Los Angeles), Lourdes Villagómez (Mexico City), Naotaka Konno (Tokyo), Sean Wotherspoon (Los Angeles), Shangguan Zhe (Shanghai), Tianzhou Chen (Beijing), and Venus X (New York) are the creatives who were entrusted to deliver proposals to the Vote Forward campaign, that end on the 25th of march. The winner will be announced the next day, on the Air Max Day.
