It is almost a fact universally acknowledge that Lisbon is charming. The city where Fado overflows from Portuguese guitars and voices unto the streets of famous neighbourhoods; where you can eat excellent "pastéis de nata" (custard tarts); experience the feeling of watching ships depart, which are engrained on the rocks by the sea and on the Antlantic horizon. The city in which there is a special corner for everyone, which welcomes but also allows you to leave.
But in Lisbon you are also in a hurry, you also rush, there is also stress.
Therefore, the client`s intent for Lígia Casanova`s interior design studio was that her home would become, essentially, a quiet and relaxing place after a day`s work. More so, it was also intended that the space had an atmosphere with a Scandinavian touch and with a minimal decoration.
