EXHIBITION PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE TRADITIONAL TERRACE CHAIR
The Cycle of Studies in Communication Design of the Universidade Lusófona do Porto, with the support Adico, Porto City Hall and Dimensão Nova, challenged some Portuguese creatives to pay homage to the traditional Portuguese terrace chair.
From October 6th 2016, the Portuguese Chair is honored in an exhibition that takes place in Casa Museu Guerra Junqueiro, in Porto. The exhibition presents ideas of the architects Álvaro Siza Vieira and João Paciência, the artists José de Guimarães, Leonel Moura, Sofia Areal, the Porto design studios Bolos Quentes, Estúdio Volta, Estúdio Dobra, Mo-Wo among others.
The exhibition also has the support of Ritzenhoff - a prestigious German brand of beer glasses. In this context the authors also present ideas to illustrate glasses of beer.
The opening takes place today, October 6, at 18:30 in Casa Museu Guerra Junqueiro.
